Admission Steps

What steps should students take be Admitted to the Program?

  1. Contact Mike Vepraskas, Soil Science Distance Education Coordinator, to discuss interest and background preparation.
  2. Apply to the Graduate School.
  3. Applications are reviewed by the Soil Science Graduate Committee.
  4. Advisor is appointed and graduate committee selected as normal.

Admission Requirements

Students admitted to the Graduate School generally have:

  1. A B.S. degree from an accredited University.
  2. A G.P.A of 3.0 or higher.
  3. Completed at least one course in Soil Science, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and 2 courses in Calculus.
